Recent events

Kilsheelan has three pubs and 1 shop and post office. It has won the tidy towns more than once. In 2004 Marilyn Manson married Dita Don Tesse at Gurteen Castle.

Kilsheelan Village

 The photo on the right shows some of the beautiful Autumn colours which can be seen along the bank of the River Suir in the village of Kilsheelan wherre I live.

The photo on the left shows Gurteen Castle on the opposite side of the river formerly owned by Count De La Poer.
It has been the home of Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwien since the late 90's.
If you google him he has many photo's of the castle on his site.
